Kelli Bellon was born and raised in Draper, Utah. Her art is a reflection of her personal journey and is inspired by her fond memories of time spent in the mountains near her childhood home and of the self-sufficient nature of the community. These memories along with her experience as a single mother, led to her interest in the science of sustainable living called Permaculture.

She has taught children's classes on exploring the relationship between the microcosm and the macrocosm through art and has worked with school classes to construct mandala gardens.
